Auto Relay

1. Range

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and storage of general purpose relays for automobiles. This standard applies to automotive DC circuit mechanical contact electromagnetic relays (including plug-in, small, general-purpose relays and other installation of the relay, hereinafter referred to as the relay).

3.This standard uses the following definitions

3.1 Normally open contacts

Refers to the relay coil is not energized when the contact is in the off state.

3.2 Normally closed contacts

Refers to the relay coil is not energized, the contact in the closed state.

3.3 The suction voltage

Is the voltage across the coil when the relay coil is energized and the voltage rises to the armature suction (normally closed contact open, normally open contact closed).

3.4 Release the voltage

Is the voltage at both ends of the coil when the voltage across the relay coil drops to the point where the armature begins to release (normally open contact is open and the normally closed contact is closed).

4. Requirements

4.1 Type and general requirements

4.1.1 Auto Relays shall conform to the provisions of this standard and shall be manufactured in accordance with the drawings and documents approved by the prescribed procedures.

4-1-2 The model of the relay is compiled according to QC / T 73.

4-11 Salt spray resistance performance

4-12 Durability

5. Test methods

5-1 Test requirements

The auto relay is tested under the following conditions:

1) test power DC power supply with sufficient capacity, the ripple voltage (peak a peak) value of not more than 100 mV, voltmeter, ammeter accuracy of not less than 0.5, the measurement shape and installation dimensions using vernier caliper, the minimum reading is 0.02 irnn;

2) Test voltage: The nominal voltage is 12 V, the test voltage is 14 V ± 0. 1 V; the nominal voltage is 24 V, the test voltage is 28 V ± 0.

3) Ambient temperature: 23; C ± 5 C;

4) relative humidity: 45% to 75%;

5-2 Check the external dimensions

Check the shape and installation dimensions of the relay with vernier caliper.

5.3 Visual inspection

Inspection and assessment by visual observation shall be in accordance with 4. 3.

5.4 Flammability test

According to the provisions of Chapter IX of GB / T 2408-1996, shall comply with the provisions of 4_4.

Mechanical performance test

The longitudinal compression force applied to the individual inserts of the relay in a dedicated test equipment shall be in accordance with 4. 5.

5.6 Basic performance test

5.8.3 Temperature change test

According to QC / T 413 in 4.10 3 of the provisions of the method of temperature change test, the relay will be placed at room temperature after 1 h, the performance should be consistent with the provisions of 4. 8.3 D

5.9 Temperature / humidity combined cycle test

According to QC / T 413 in 4. 11 for temperature / humidity combination cycle test, the end of the test to return to room temperature, the relay performance should be consistent with the provisions of 4. 9.

5.10 Vibration test

According to QC / T 413 in 4.12 of the method, after the test relay performance should be consistent with the provisions of 4.10.

5.11 Salt spray test

According to QC / T 413 4.13 for 48 h salt spray test, after the test relay performance should be consistent with the provisions of 4.11.

5.12 Durability test

The relay shall be subjected to the durability test on the special test-bed according to the specified wiring mode and the load performance parameter. The test shall be conducted for 2 s and 1 s (or 1 time) for 3 s after power-off.

6. Inspection rules

6.1 Qualified documents and markings

Each auto relay must be inspected before passing the factory, and should be accompanied by documents to prove the quality of products or markings.

6.2 Type of inspection

Auto Relay testing sub-factory inspection, acceptance inspection and type testing.

6.3 Factory inspection

6.3.1 test items: 4. 2,4,3,4 .6,4.7.

6.3.2 Sampling method: 4. 3,4. 6,4. 7 must be fully tested, on 4.2 allowed to each batch of pumping 0.5%, but not less than three.

6.3.3 Decision rule: All items must be fully qualified. 4.2 of the sampling samples, such as all qualified, then the batch of products as qualified, if a failure, after a full inspection after the repair should be fully qualified, or unqualified.

Acceptance inspection

According to QC / T 413 in the provisions of 5. 4 acceptance.

6.5 Type inspection

6.5.1 For several types of type tests, see 5.5 of the QC / T 413-2002

6.5.2 The samples for type inspection shall be taken from the same batch of products which are qualified in the factory inspection, and the re-inspection and type inspection of the ex-factory inspection items shall be carried out in the order listed in Table 4.

6.5.3 Qualified judgment: All types of relay type inspection shall meet the requirements. If one item does not meet the requirements, double the number of samples shall be re-sampled, and the unqualified items shall be re-inspected. If there are still unqualified items, But the failure of the durability test should not be re-extracted, directly judged as unqualified.

7 Marking, packaging, storage and transport

7-1 Auto Relays shall be marked in a prominent position:

  1. A) the name of the manufacturer or trademark;
  2. B) relay specifications, model.

7.2 Relay application moisture-proof material packaging, and then loaded into the box, the equipment should be loaded with people. Packaging should be strong to ensure that the normal transport is not damaged. The total weight of each product should not exceed the weight of the technical standard

7.3 The following documents shall be enclosed in the relay box:

  1. A) product certification;
  2. B) the product instruction manual;
  3. C) Preparation, list of accessories.

7.4 relay box should be marked outside:

  2. B) the name of the manufacturer, trademark, full address and the name of the receiving unit, address;

7.5 Relays should be stored in a ventilated, dry, no harmful gases in the warehouse, should not be with chemicals, acid and alkali substances stored together. 7.6 Signage, packaging, transportation and storage of relays may also be agreed between the supplier and the purchaser.
